Alternative Provision Tutor
Fareham/Southampton/ Full time/Part- Time/Term Time available
Sportfit Support Services is looking to appoint additional Alternative Provision Tutors to work across our alternative provision settings in Southampton and Fareham.
This is an exciting time to join Southampton's Sportfit Education (www.sportfiteducation.com): delivering packages of support to children, having expanded to multiple sites and with the registration of its first independent special school in April 2025
Working with children and young people from Key Stage 2 to Post-16, many of those who come to us have experienced challenging circumstances in their lives and have not always been able to cope with the demands of mainstream education. Our person-centred approach allows us to build strong relationships with learners and rebuild confidence in their own abilities. Although we have 'sport' in the company name, we provide a wide range of learning experiences for our students.
Teachers find our approach to work-life balance refreshing. Teaching assistants delight in taking up a role with greater pay and responsibility for students.
Salary £25,000 to £32,000 depending on experience. Part-time or term-time only positions available.
